Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience within the specialty of Cardiology Services-Echocardiographer
- Required: BLS certification
- Cerner system experience preferred
- Registered as a Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer through RDCS or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- 5+ years of hospital setting experience preferred
- Certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Intermediate computer skills
- Knowledge of methods, techniques, and operating principles of ultrasound equipment
- Ability to perform proficiency skills and procedures for echocardiography
- Graduate from an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology
- Registered or registry-eligible Vascular Technologist with 2 years vascular-related experience
- Congenital echocardiography experience
- State of Georgia licensing or certification as required
