HVAC Commercial Installer

The HVAC Commercial Installer installs commercial and industrial heating and cooling equipment and ductwork (rooftops, furnaces, central air conditioners, commercial refrigeration equipment). Responsibilities and Duties Installing HVAC systems and ductwork (Hydronic, Steam, Forced Hot Air, and Heat Pumps). Maintaining a high standard of mechanical installation practices. Must have a high mechanical aptitude. Ability to braze and solder. Understanding of proper refrigerant piping installation. Basic knowledge of system controls and wiring. Basic computer skills. Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and have good communication ability. Qualifications Minimum one year of HVAC experience in HVAC service and installation or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience. Must be able to work independently and as a team member. Strong communication and documentation skills. Must be able to pass a post‑offer pre‑employment drug screen and may be required to satisfactorily complete additional background checks as required (i.e. DMV, criminal history). Must adhere to all company policies and procedures. Demonstrate proper and safe use of tools and related equipment. Experience in providing quality, professional customer‑related services. Ability to work and communicate effectively individually and in a team environment. Ability to handle disruptions in stride with professionalism. Ability to work independently in a commercial setting.
