Description: M/S Tele RN Nights and EOW 36 hours. Telemetry monitoring required. Management of chest tubes, NGT, epidurals, and capnography necessary. Preferred skills include management of arterial lines and neo-synephrine. The clinician to patient ratio is 6-10 patients per PCA and 3-5 patients per RN. Stepdown ratios are 2-3 patients per RN. Patient population includes post-operative care for various surgical procedures including general, GYN, vascular, thoracic, urology, oral, plastics, and trauma. Total bed count is 23 with an average census of 23. Charting system used is electronic. Floating to different units may be required. Rotating shifts are required for day positions; night positions do not require rotation.
