Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Neurology - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 06/22/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - Neurology /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 12-hour night shifts from 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM /n• 36 guaranteed hours per week (13-week contract) /n• Up to every other weekend schedule /n• Holiday rotation required depending on unit needs /n• Patient ratio of 1:4 with 4-5 RNs and 2 patient care technicians per shift /n• Must have 3+ years RN experience and 1 travel contract required /n• ICU/IMC (intermediate care) experience strongly preferred /n• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN license (or compact), AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS /n• EPIC charting experience within the last year strongly preferred /n• Float throughout facility within skillset and to all facilities within 60 mile radius /n• No on-call or callback requirements /n• Must make up any missed shifts within 2 weeks of absence /n• 8-hour unbillable orientation required /n• Black scrubs required /n• Care for neurology patients including stroke patients and post-operative patients from brain/neck/spine surgeries /n• Work with post-trauma patients and traumatic brain injury cases /n• Experience in stroke care and post-op back/spine/cervical surgeries desired /n• Associate degree or certificate required /n• Previous travel experience required (no travelers within 50 miles of facility) /n• GSA hours not guaranteed during orientation week or when unit is closed for holidays /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare organization operates a 16-bed neurology unit specializing in comprehensive neurological care.
