Overnight Mental Health Rehabilitation Worker

Job Duties Record keeping, reporting requirements and maintaining confidentiality Ability to create and follow ITP plans set up for clients and uses creative ways to encourage participation Effectively assist clients and train in areas such as symptom management, employment, budgeting, organizing, medical appointments scheduling, and meal planning. Objectively and professionally document progress with the client at the end of your shift Provide assistance with paperwork that is pertinent to continuation of services, such as Social Security paperwork Provide support and supervision as defined in each ITP plan, using therapeutic interventions, while ensuring consumer safety Assist with setting up transportation services or learning how to utilize public transportation Regularly travel in the community and transporting recipients Demonstrate a working knowledge of consumer(s) history, skills, vulnerabilities, support plans and emergency procedures Minimum Education Required Qualifications for Behavioral Health Practitioners at Brainerd House, our IRTS facility near UMD : Course Work Qualification Set 30 semester hours AND 2000 supervised hours Behavioral Health or related field OR Completed Practicum or Internship in Behavioral Sciences or Related Field Qualifications Of a Mental Health Rehabilitation Worker Course Work Qualification Set High School Diploma, Associates Degree or two years post-secondary education or a total of 15 semester hours AND 30 hours of training in the following: recipient rights, recipient-centered ITP, Behavioral terminology, MI, co-occurring, psychotropic meds, functional assessment, community resources, adult vulnerability, and recipient confidentiality Minimum Experience Required Life Experience Qualification Set, (within the last 10 years) for a Mental Health Rehabilitation Worker: 3 years personal life experience serious & persistent MI OR 3 years personal life experience as primary care giver to adult serious & persistent MI, TBI, SUD, or DD OR 2000 hours supervised paid work experience in delivery of adult MI or TBI services OR Fluent in non-English language that 20% of recipients belong to Receives monthly documented clinical supervision by MHP during first 2000 hours of employment Work Experience Qualification Set For Behavioral Health Practitioners 4000 supervised hours Behavioral Health or related field OR 2000 supervised hours AND Receives weekly clinical supervision from MHP Shift Third (Night) Number of Openings 2 Public Transportation Accessible No Veterans Encouraged to Apply Yes Physical Required No Drug Test Required No Compensation $19.00 - $25.00 / Hourly Postal Code 55811 Job Type Full Time Place of Work On-site Requisition ID 1321807 Job Benefits Health Insurance, Dental, Vision, Short & Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, Critical Illness, Hospital Confinement, Accident, Dependent Care FSA, Employee Assistance Program, Paid Time Off Holiday Pay for Hours Worked on Eligible Holidays, Performance-Based Wage Increases #J-18808-Ljbffr
