Maintenance Technician

We manage a diverse portfolio of properties and are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support both industrial and residential assets throughout the Milwaukee area. Position Summary The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial and multifamily residential properties. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across multiple property types, supporting the operations of an active manufacturing facility while also assisting with apartment community maintenance. The ideal candidate is a safety-focused, hands-on professional who enjoys troubleshooting, problem-solving, and working in dynamic environments. Industrial maintenance experience is highly preferred. Essential Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, and property infrastructure. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building maintenance issues. Support the maintenance and operation of an active industrial/manufacturing facility. Complete apartment maintenance work orders, unit turns, and common area repairs. Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance concerns and ensure properties remain in excellent condition. Respond to maintenance emergencies and urgent repair requests. Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors as needed. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements. Assist with special projects and capital improvement initiatives. Requirements Required High school diploma or equivalent. Two or more years of maintenance, facilities, building engineering, or related experience. Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in various indoor and outdoor environments. Preferred Industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience. OSHA 10 certification. Experience supporting commercial, industrial, or multifamily properties. Technical training, trade certifications, or relevant licenses. Experience with preventative maintenance programs and work order systems.
