Speech-Language Pathologist - PRN Job Locations: US-WA-TACOMA | US-WA-PUYALLUP | US-WA-GIG HARBOR | US-WA-STEILACOOM Overview SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLP) - PRN (W2) – Rehab Without Walls Home & Community Program – Tacoma, WA Rehab Without Walls is hiring SpeechLanguage Pathologists for our Home & Community Program in Tacoma. Our innovative model supports communication, cognitive, and functional goals in real‑world environments. What You’ll Do Provide speech and cognitive therapy in home/community settings Support return to work, return to driving, and independent communication Collaborate with OT, PT, and LCSW team members Benefits PRN W2 (not 1099) Flexible schedule Hourly pay Mileage & drive time reimbursement Educational programs Responsibilities What you will do: Responsibilities listed include but are not limited to: Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders Regularly re‑assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences Perform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for home and community safety, and provide referral and education resources Communicate patient's needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services and family members Communicate with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes Qualifications What you will need: Minimum of a Master’s Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice Current CPR Certification At least one year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury preferred Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to lift 50 pounds; moving, lifting or transferring patients may involve up to 100 pounds following safety procedures Fine motor skills, visual acuity, and ability to walk/stand for extended periods Physical requirements include pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and frequent positioning Health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter, per location policy and regulations About our Line of Business Rehab Without Walls, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is a neurorehabilitation program that brings individuals outside institutional settings into their natural home and community environment.
