Must-Haves:

• Minimum 4 years of progressive, hands-on experience within the past 7 years
• High School Diploma
• EPA Universal Certification
• One of the following HVAC certifications:
• • Journeyman HVAC
  • NATE HVAC Service Technician
  • UA Star HVAC Mastery Certification
  • TDLR A/C Refrigeration Technician Certification
• Real ID or Passport

Plusses:

• Prior experience leading or mentoring junior HVAC technicians
• Experience in government or highly regulated facilities
• Strong familiarity with HVAC control systems
• Welding and fabrication experience

Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking a Lead HVAC Mechanic for a leading facilities management client. Responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of all types of HVAC equipment at a journeyman level of service including air-conditioning equipment, refrigeration equipment, HVAC control systems, and more. This individual will operate at a journeyman level, handling complex HVAC systems across a critical environment while also taking on leadership responsibilities. The role involves not only hands-on technical work—such as installation, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance—but also mentoring technicians, assigning work orders, and ensuring all systems meet strict operational requirements.
