Inpatient Rehabilitation Therapist
Location: Augusta, GA
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Job Description: We are currently seeking an Inpatient Rehabilitation Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide critical rehabilitation services in our inpatient unit, catering to patients with various rehabilitation needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations for patients with swallowing and cognitive disorders.
- Develop and implement treatment plans.
- Provide therapy for issues such as dysphagia, stroke rehabilitation, and cognitive impairment.
- Utilize specialized equipment such as VITAL STIM and BIONESS in treatment.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Must have GA Licensure for relevant therapy discipline.
- Certified Clinical Competence (CCC) in the applicable field.
- Experience with MBSS, dysphagia, and cognitive assessment and treatment.
- Preferred experience with VITAL STIM, FEES, and TBI.
