Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Mid Shift: 2:45 PM – 3:15 AM | Every other weekend required | Projected Start: June 15, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department with up to 101 beds and patient ratios of 4:1 (medical) and up to 7:1 for behavioral holds
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Cerner electronic health record system
• Utilize AIDET communication framework and maintain patient experience standards, including updating patient boards and providing consistent communication throughout each visit
• Collaborate with techs, unit clerks, and interdisciplinary team members across all sections of the ED including cardiac monitoring, internal processing, and triage areas
• Operate unit equipment including Baxter pumps and GE monitors in accordance with department protocols
• Float to all sections within the Emergency Department as needed to meet departmental staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an Emergency Department setting
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required prior to start date
• ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire
• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center or comprehensive stroke center environment
• Strong teamwork mentality with the ability to coach and provide real-time feedback; flexibility to work in all areas of the ED

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume Emergency Department with greater than 100,000 annual visits
• Previous experience with HCA-affiliated facilities
• Familiarity with Cerner documentation system
