Senior Backend Engineer Global Infra & Cloud

Requirements
- We are looking for candidates with a can-do attitude, who are passionate about complex problems and thrive on bringing value to thousands of customers ,
- Education: A Bachelor's or Master's (M.S./B.S.) degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technical field ,
- Experience: 2+ years of professional Software Engineering experience, ideally focusing on the development of scalable server-side applications ,
- Programming: Strong programming proficiency in one or more of the following: Python, Node.js, or TypeScript ,
- Database Knowledge: Solid understanding of and experience with relational databases (SQL), MongoDB, and BigQuery ,
- Collaboration: A demonstrated ability to be a team player with strong communication skills for effective collaboration across cross-functional groups ,
- Proven experience building and maintaining high-scale server-side applications ,
- Experience utilizing Cloud Platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure ,
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and managing cloud infrastructure ,
- Experience with REST APIs (design, development, and consumption) ,
- Knowledge of AI/ML pipelines, Data Science principles, and related technologies like Model Context Protocol ,
- (Desirable) Prior experience with containerization technologies, specifically Kubernetes and/or Docker
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join Global Infra TEAM ,
- The group develops and maintains the backend of Global Infra Platform & Cortex products ,
- You will join a team focused on developing, innovating, and scaling the Global Infra Platform, along with contributing to shared network + compute infrastructures and components ,
- End-to-end backend development of features and core components across their entire life cycle (design, develop, test, deploy, maintain) ,
- Collaborate with peers across different teams and disciplines to shape solutions and integrate with other parts of the product ,
- Work with customers and provide solutions to their day-to-day work and challenges ,
- Contribute to team-wide efforts - code reviews, design reviews, technical and architectural decisions
