Leasing & Marketing Assistant - The Standard at Berkeley

The primary function of the Leasing & Marketing Assistant is to assist in the planning of community events, actively participate in on‑and off‑campus activities, and provide service to prospective residents to meet specific goals as outlined by the Community Manager. The Leasing & Marketing Assistant should be outgoing and must act as a quality leader to the Community Ambassadors. Reports to: Community Manager. Direct Reports: None. Roles and Responsibilities Monitor and maintain model and tour route on a daily basis Assist with the maintenance of property curb appeal Track and report leasing data, metrics and goals Develop and execute methods to retain residents and gain new ones Create and maintain relationships with vendors Organize and manage monthly resident events Organize and manage monthly marketing events Prepare for and execute housing fairs and other on‑campus events Assist with social media campaigns to maintain a social media presence Ensure follow‑up activities take place for all prospective residents Report on time to your shift and maintain confidentiality of client, resident, and company information Adhere to Landmark Properties policies and procedures and maintain a clean, professional work environment Assist in roommate placement and matching Understand lease documents and related addendums, and clearly communicate relevant information to prospective residents and parents Participate in all move‑in related activities and manage time efficiently and effectively Assist in maximizing revenue and occupancy; collect rents, security deposits, and other income as requested Operate marketing activities within the marketing budget and document all company purchases Co‑facilitate annual Leasing Training and track Leasing Ambassador performance through lease audits Understand the needs and expectations of prospective residents, clients, and vendors and exceed expectations Develop a sense of community among prospective residents and staff, and maintain active communication with prospective residents, parents, and university personnel Represent the community and Landmark Properties in a professional manner and maintain a positive community environment for residents and associates Assist future residents in mediation of conflicts and maintain a clean community environment Document and address behaviors that violate the law or the community lease agreement; identify and report safety and security risks to the Community Manager Work Environment The work environment is generally moderate in noise level. Physical Demands Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands are required. Tasks may include lifting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and climbing. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Occasional driving or air travel may be required for company business. Compensation The pay for this position is $22.00 per hour, depending on geographic location and market factors.
