Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days (11:30 AM – 12:00 AM) | Saturday, Sunday, Monday | On-call and floating requirements apply

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced MRI imaging procedures, supporting patient throughput and facilitating smooth, efficient patient flow
• Demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts and/or at additional campuses as needed or required
• Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance, participate in QA processes, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system (PACS), including serving as a PACS Superuser during downtime
• Provide basic MRI safety screening for patients and staff, and ensure compliance with all MRI safety protocols
• Ensure completed exams are accurately scanned and stored in PACS; escalate equipment or system issues to appropriate personnel as needed
• Adapt patient assessment, treatment, and care methods to accommodate the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and age-specific needs of each patient served

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or approved equivalent
• ARRT certification in MRI (MR) or ARMRIT required
• State Licensure required for practice in New Mexico; MRT by MIRTP NMED required
• BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association required
• Ability to perform IV starts
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience in a hospital or clinical setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with PACS systems and image archiving workflows
• Familiarity with advanced MRI procedures beyond routine imaging
• Basic computer proficiency in a clinical environment
