Speech Therapist
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Perform dysphagia assessments and recommend appropriate diet and texture modifications
- Educate residents, families, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies
- Document evaluations, treatments, and progress per facility and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident goals
- Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility policies
