Kindergarten Teacher Aide (Part Time)

Part‑Time Principal Duties and Responsibilities St. Columbkille Catholic School is seeking a caring, positive, and dependable Kindergarten Teacher Aide to support our kindergarten program for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children, collaborates well with teachers, and helps foster a safe, faith‑filled, and engaging classroom environment. Assisting kindergarten teachers with daily classroom activities and routines Supporting students individually and in small groups Helping prepare instructional materials and classroom projects Supervising students during classroom transitions, recess, lunch, and other activities as needed Assisting with classroom organization, cleanup, and maintaining a positive learning environment Reinforcing classroom expectations and procedures Supporting the Catholic mission and values of the school Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions Performing other duties as assigned by the principal or classroom teacher Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to work positively and collaboratively with young children and staff Strong communication and interpersonal skills Patience, flexibility, and a nurturing demeanor Ability to follow teacher direction and work independently when needed Basic organizational and classroom management skills Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education Dependability, professionalism, and willingness to be part of a team Education and Experience Previous experience working with children in a school, childcare, camp, or related setting preferred Safe Environment Certification completed or willingness to complete training requirements Interested candidates should submit a resume and references to Principal at View email address on click.appcast.io. #J-18808-Ljbffr
