About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with talent4health to find a qualified Stepdown RN in Bay City, Michigan, 48708!

Patient Monitoring: Utilize advanced monitoring equipment to track vital signs, telemetry, and critical metrics.Assessment & Intervention: Perform regular assessments, recognize subtle changes in patient conditions, and initiate necessary interventions or life-saving measures.Medication Management: Administer complex medications, IV therapies, and titrate drips as ordered.Specialized Care: Care for patients recovering from surgery, cardiac events, or those with complex conditions (e.g., vent patients, stroke patients requiring neuro checks).Collaboration: Work with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, therapists) to develop and implement care plans.Education: Educate patients and families on diseases, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely documentation of nursing care and patient responses.
