Associate Civil Litigation Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Civil Defense Litigation Associate in Costa Mesa, CA. This role offers hybrid work flexibility, allowing for remote work part of the week. The successful candidate will engage in all phases of litigation, working closely with senior associates and partners to achieve client goals. Duties Draft extensive written discovery, including interrogatories and document requests. Attend hearings, draft motions, and manage depositions. Analyze and execute litigation strategies. Manage client communications throughout litigation. Ensure timely and accurate client reporting. Requirements JD from an accredited law school and good standing with the CA State Bar. Minimum of two years of civil or general litigation experience. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Exceptional communication and advocacy skills. Experience in research, discovery, depositions, and mediations. Strong time management and deadline management skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Active membership in the California State Bar. Skills Strong written and verbal communication. Strategic thinking and problem-solving. Proficiency in legal research and case handling.
