PHP Therapist

The PHP Therapists are responsible for conducting therapeutic services for patients, interviewing and developing the psychological history, assessing the therapeutic needs of the individual and family, developing appropriate treatment objectives, and treatment plan updates for patients. Therapists conduct family sessions prior to discharge. Therapists act as the patients' and families' primary contact during the patient's stay at the facility, as well as their advocate with the treatment team. Therapists are also liaisons with outside agencies and individuals for the purpose of developing and coordinating discharge planning with the treatment team and family.

Qualifications

Education: Master's degree in social work; mental health counseling or related field required.

Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years working as a therapist/counselor in a behavioral health setting.

License: Valid GA license preferred (LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, LAPC or LPC).
