Job Schedule: Full time (Full‑time 40 hours per week, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with 10‑hour shifts, on‑call weekends required). Location: Inova Fairfax Hospital. This role will be full‑time, 40 hours per week, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with 10‑hour shifts, and includes on‑call weekends required. Demonstrates advanced knowledge and practice in the role of the Endo tech. Demonstrates advanced knowledge of anatomy and is able to anticipate the required instrumentation for each step of basic and advanced endoscopic procedures. Expedites the procedure by anticipating the needs of the endoscopist. Demonstrates collaboration with other team members in planning/giving patient care; Actively shares knowledge with staff regarding devices, techniques and procedures. May perform additional duties as assigned. Additional Requirements Certification – Basic Life Support from AHA upon start. Experience – 1 year Endoscopy Technician experience (leader recommendation for promotion from Endoscopy Technician 1). Education – High school diploma or equivalent. Education – Completion of the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates – Associates Program (SGNA) upon start.
