Production Assembler I

Company: Milgard Windows and Doors (A MITER Brands Company)

Location: Fife, WA

Schedule: Day Shift 5AM-1:30PM, Swing Shift 3:30PM-12AM and Swing Shift 4PM-12:30AM

Compensation: Starts at $22.00/hour + an extra $2.00/hour for the Swing Shift Differential

The Production Assembler supports the manufacturing of vinyl windows and patio doors by performing basic to intermediate assembly tasks in a fast‑paced production environment. This role follows standard work instructions, focuses on quality and safety, and works as part of a team to meet daily production goals.

What You Will Do

• Perform assembly tasks involved in the construction of windows and patio doors
• Follow standard work instructions, safety guidelines, and quality standards
• Use hand tools and basic power tools safely and effectively
• Inspect your own work to ensure quality and accuracy
• Work as part of a team to meet daily production and efficiency goals
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Support flexibility by assisting in different assembly areas as needed

What You Will Bring

• High school diploma or GED (or ability to obtain)
• Previous manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, or hands‑on work experience preferred but not required
• Ability to learn and follow work instructions
• Comfort using basic hand tools and equipment (training provided)
• Basic math skills and ability to read measurements
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Dependable attendance and strong teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn, cross‑train, and grow within the role
• Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly
• Experience working in a fast‑paced or production environment
