Family Practice/Primary Care Physician Assistant

Location: Cedar Park, TX
Status: Full-Time
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week (3x12); clinic hours 8:00 AM 8:00 PM, 7 days/week
Compensation: $60 $80/hour (based on experience) + productivity bonus

NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Cedar Park, TX . This role is ideal for clinicians who value autonomy, fast-paced clinical work, and a strong work-life balance.

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages
Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
Order and interpret labs and imaging
Perform urgent care procedures (suturing, wound care, splinting, etc.)
Communicate treatment plans and provide patient education
Document care efficiently in the EHR
Maintain productivity aligned with urgent care benchmarks

Active, unrestricted Texas NP or PA license
Board certification (ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA)
Active DEA (or ability to obtain)
Ability to treat patients of all ages
Active BLS certification
Willingness to work rotating weekends/holidays
DOT certification or willingness to obtain (fees covered)

Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast-track experience
Strong procedural skills
Comfort with initial x-ray interpretation
