A local trailer company is looking to hire a Trailer Mechanic to their growing team! We are looking for a Trailer Mechanic who can diagnose, modify and/or repair trailers and perform routine maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate should have good mechanical and organization skills!

Responsibilities:

• Installation of trailer components
• Suspension alignment
• Welding in aluminum and carbon steel
• Changing tires or wheels
• Troubleshooting and repairing electrical harnesses, painting, aluminum polishing, etc.

Requirements:

• Pass drug test and background check
• Must have valid driver’s license
• 1-year minimum experience as a trailer mechanic or similar field
• Mechanically and electrically inclined.
• Problem solving skills.
• Welding (carbon steel and aluminum welding required)
• Body shop painting experience preferred.
• Forklift experience required.
• Ability to work as a part of a team
• Ability to use a computer, email and Microsoft Excel
• Understanding or speaking Spanish is preferred
• Must have your own basic tool set

Schedule:

• Monday- Friday
• 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Pay Rate:

• $21-$24 / Hour
