ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I’ve proudly owned my State Farm agency for nearly five years and lead a close-knit team of four. With my background as a U.S. Army captain and a Michigan State graduate (Go Green!), I bring leadership, dedication, and teamwork into everything we do. Our culture is professional but relaxed—we keep snacks and drinks stocked for the team, enjoy periodic lunches together, and celebrate wins as a group. Outside the office, I’m a husband and dad to two young boys, so I know the importance of balancing work, family, and community. We’re looking for motivated, team-oriented individuals who want to grow their career while making a meaningful difference for our customers.ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Jacob Asbury - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace.RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members. Manage appointment scheduling and office communications. Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records. Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options. Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs. Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role. Communication and interpersonal skills. Organizational and multitasking abilities. Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
