Step into an engaging role supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based contract setting near Newark, DE. This opportunity offers the chance to make a real impact in children’s lives while partnering closely with a dedicated school team. Your expertise in speech-language services will help students achieve their communication goals and flourish academically.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold an active Delaware SLP License/Certification (must be valid throughout the assignment)
  • Previous school-based experience, ideally with elementary-aged students
  • Demonstrated abilities in providing speech-language therapy, evaluations, and developing IEP goals
  • Skilled in progress monitoring and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Excellent teamwork and adaptability, ready to lend support wherever needed
  • Strong collaboration with teachers, related service providers, and families to foster student success
  • Ability to work full scheduled hours onsite, with consistent attendance

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to elementary students, tailored to individual needs
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and contribute actively to IEP development and meetings
  • Track student progress, collect data, and complete all required clinical documentation
  • Communicate effectively with school staff, related service providers, and families
  • Support a positive and inclusive educational environment, adjusting to caseload or assignment changes as needed

This position runs from ASAP through June 16, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week (elementary school hours: 8:45 AM–4:15 PM EST). Interviews are conducted via a brief Google Meet.
