Android DeveloperIncorporated in 1997 and based in Troy-Michigan, Excyl is a full service recruiting firm specializing in the placement of Technology (IT), Engineering, Clerical and Light Industrial professionalsJob DescriptionREQUIRED SKILLS:Mobile app design and development experience on Android platformStrong programming experience in Java using Android SDK and third-party libraries using Android studio (GOLANG-another mobile language)Experience with multi-threading and integrating with RESTful servicesExperience creating unit tests, using crash analysis and profiling toolsGood understanding of UI/UX customization, dealing with different versions of Android and screen sizesAny development experience for iOS platform using Swift or Objective-C is a solid plusWorking knowledge of complete life cycle including publish to Google Play store and updatesUnderstanding of design patterns for reusability, extensibility etc.Experience with Git, Bug tracking and CI/CD toolsSwift, C any QA- bug tracking (pluses)BS Degree in Computer Science or related fieldPROGRAMMING LANGUAGES:Kotlin, including Kotlin DSL for build scriptsJava Frameworks and LibrariesDagger/Hilt - Dependency injectionJetpack Compose - Toolkit for building native UIJUnit, Mockito, Espresso, Hamcrest - Testing frameworksKotlin Coroutine - Asynchronous programmingRetrofit - NetworkingTOOLS:Android Studio - Android IDEProguard/R8 - Shrink, obfuscate, and optimizeAzure DevOps Pipelines - CI/CD pipelines using YAMLArchitectural PattersMVVM (Model View View-Model)Android architecture.
