SAP Finance Project Systems (PS) Consultant

: Introduction As a Package Consultant at IBM, get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives. Our team takes on the challenge of designing, developing and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. You will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients' business environment and achieve business results. Your Role and Responsibilities Provides expert level business process guidance on Navy ERP's SAP requirements and design. Responsible for analyzing, designing and implementing SAP Project System solutions to meet our Navy client's needs in areas surrounding project planning, budgeting, actual postings, settlements, and PS reporting; and enable open and integrated data flow between financial account and the other components of the SAP system.

• Has and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments
• This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance or higher

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 10 or more years of SAP experience. - could be 8 years if has demonstrated senior senior role
• Subject Matter Expert experience in designing/configuring business processes in SAP Project System (PS)
• Integration knowledge of CO, FM, FI, SD and MM - integrating with other modules - utilizing of AM
• Strong organization and communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment
• Focus on customer service and responsiveness, with sound customer handling skills
• Bachelor's Degree in a recognized technical, engineering, scientific, managerial, business, or other discipline related to area of expertise. An additional four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's Degree.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Secret DoD clearance - US citizenship required

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5 or more years PS experience -
• Knowledge of and experience with Federal, specifically DoD
• Familiar with Navy and/or DoD IT architectures
• Experience in post go-live production support and break/fix
• Experience in software development lifecycle surrounding requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, documentation, test (unit, functional, integration, regression, stress, and user acceptance), implementation, and post production support of standard and custom business solutions supporting SAP PS module (in a Tier 3 environment)

The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
