Our Supervisors are responsible for providing professional customer-focused security and life safety services for the people and the property they protect and our employees that they lead. Position is responsible for day-to-day leadership and supervision of a portfolio of customer accounts.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesA true Leadership positionEnsure quality services are provided to meet customer expectations and contract requirementsRegularly inspect, supervise, train, coaching, mentor, and lead security personnel assigned to the facility/buildingPerform operations related functions that include; scheduling, overtime management, review of daily logs and incident reports, training and development of staffAssist in monitoring/developing staff performance to include supervision, evaluations, disciplinary matters, training, scheduling, callouts, assigning workAssist in maintaining up to date and accurate timekeeping systems and records for staffProvide immediate response to emergencies and issues that ariseFollow and coordinate established emergency response, action planning and proceduresMaintain availability and to portfolio of accounts assignedMay be required to initiate preliminary investigations into incidentsPrepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities, as requiredPrepare required weekly, bi-weekly and monthly manager reportsAssist to procure, process and maintain uniforms and equipmentThe essential duties and responsibilities may differ by customer location assignedKnowledge and Skill RequirementsState or municipality mandated security officer licensesCandidates should possess some of the following verifiable experiences; 1-3+ years civilian law enforcement or private or corporate security experience2-4+ years military experience with a favorable dischargeMust have reliable means of communication and transportationMust have a security guard license or be able to obtain one within an acceptable periodStrong interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work in a fast paced, customer service environmentExcellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize and problem solveGood computer skills including Microsoft OfficeCompensationHarvard Protection Services offers a competitive hourly pay rate with health & welfare, dental, vision, sick leave, vacation, and 401K enrollment benefit opportunities.Harvard Protection Services maintains true to our long-standing belief, Employees First and Customer Service.
