RN - PCU

RN - Nursing Vascular Transplant

This is a 13-week contract position.

3x12-Hour shifts from 07:00 - 19:30, with blocked weekends on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Required to work every third weekend.

The RN will provide post-operative care for vascular, kidney, and liver transplant patients. Responsibilities include performing hemodynamic and neurovascular assessments, monitoring surgical sites for bleeding or infection, evaluating graft function, and administering medications such as pain control, immunosuppressants, and anticoagulation therapies. The RN will also monitor labs, urine output, fluids, and electrolytes, while identifying complications such as thrombosis, graft dysfunction, and rejection.

• Perform comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments.
• Monitor vital signs, weight, fluid balance, and graft function.
• Identify signs and symptoms of transplant complications.
• Teach medication adherence and self-administration.
• Coordinate post-transplant care with the healthcare team.
• Provide psychosocial support and patient/family education on lifestyle adjustments.

• 2 years of IMC experience required (hard stop).
• Transplant experience required.
• Active MD RN license.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
