Job Opportunity: Acute Rehab Physical Therapist

Our organization is currently looking for a dedicated full-time Acute Rehab Physical Therapist to provide exceptional, patient-focused therapy within an inpatient acute care environment. This role involves assessing and treating patients recovering from surgery, orthopedic issues, spinal conditions, and other complex medical situations to help them regain mobility, functionality, and independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, and interventions aimed at enhancing functional mobility.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and case management to establish treatment goals and facilitate discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment processes and recovery strategies.
• Foster a culture that prioritizes quality, safety, and ongoing improvement in patient care.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Valid physical therapy license.
• Experience in acute rehabilitation or related fields is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
