POSITION SUMMARYWe are seeking an attorney to join the Inspire law department. We are building a trusting and collaborative culture where we value excellence, professionalism, growth, and development. We engage proactively with our business partners to deliver business-relevant legal advice and solutions.Reporting to the Company’s Deputy General Counsel, this role will support a mix of legal areas, with a primary focus on employment law and related investigations, and additional responsibility for selected general corporate matters and commercial contracting support. The role offers exposure to public company governance, ESG, and strategic initiatives, while allowing the attorney to build deeper subject matter expertise in employment and related areas.MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESEmployment Law & HR SupportServe as day-to-day legal partner to Human Resources on employment-related matters, including employee relations, terminations, accommodations, policy interpretation and other employee counselingManage pre-litigation matters and partner with outside counsel as neededTrack and analyze employment-related trends and regulatory developments to proactively advise the businessInvestigations and ComplianceSupport internal investigations and HR compliance reviews, including privileged mattersCorporate & Governance SupportAssist with public company matters, including equity compensation, governance, disclosuresSupport aspects of strategic transactions and cross-functional initiativesSupport aspects of the company’s ESG programCommercial ContractsSupport a defined subset of commercial contracts, with increasing responsibility over timeIdentify and escalate key risk areas while helping to streamline contracting processes and templatesLegal OperationsPartner with overall team to enhance processes, documentation, and institutional knowledge trackingGeneral Legal supportProvide support across the legal and compliance department on a variety of matters, contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented environmentQUALITY SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIES­Document product and therapy related field reports within the prescribed timelines and provide any necessary documents required to complete the investigation. Provide follow-up reporting as needed.Complete training requirements and competency confirmations as required for this position within the required timeline.Comply with applicable quality system procedures/policies and make suggestions for continuous process improvement.QUALIFICATIONSEducational Requirements:JD degree with strong academic credentials from an accredited law school. Required Experience:At least 3 years of legal experience; corporate legal department preferred but not required.Significant experience with employment law and employment counseling.General experience with broader corporate law.Experience managing domestic and international outside counsel.Excellent organizational, project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Extremely strong written and oral communication skills with a persistent eye toward problem-solving.Adept at operating in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, and managing competing priorities under demanding deadlines.Proven ability to work cross functionally and with upper management to achieve objectives with support from internal business partners.Admission to a State Bar in good standing.An entrepreneurial, creative, hands-on adviser who has the ability to drive solutions to problems quickly and effectively.An outstanding team player who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to get a task done and is inherently proactive, driven, collaborative, dedicated, and possesses the ability to develop first-class relationships, both internally and externally.A smart, innovative, strategic thinker, yet pragmatic and operationally savvy, with a strong commitment to building shareholder and patient value.A natural communicator who is able to present ideas discerningly, articulately and openly with the ability to effectively influence and marshal buy-in from people at all levels.#LI-OnsiteThe salary for this position will be offered at a level consistent with the experience and qualifications of the candidate.
