Medical AssistantThe Medical Assistant plays a crucial role in facilitating a smooth and friendly environment during patient visits, supporting the dermatologist in the room and ensuring efficient interactions with patients, staff, and visitors.Responsibilities:Accompany the dermatologist during patient visits and document vital information.Scribe information for the dermatologist and provide post-operative instructions to patients.Perform duties such as drawing blood and suture removal.Clean and stock exam rooms to maintain a sterile environment.Schedule patient appointments efficiently to optimize clinic operations.Essential Skills:6 months to 1 year of experience in a related field.Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems.Strong organizational and communication skills.Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, clients, and visitors.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Experience in surgical, dermatology, or urgent care settings is preferred.Customer service skills, especially in fast-paced healthcare environments.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Work Environment:The role operates Monday through Friday from 6:45 am to 3:30 pm in a fast-paced environment that handles approximately 65 patients per day.
