Floating Expectations RNs may be floated between: Like units Campuses within a 20-mile radius Floating between campuses is rare unless specifically stated in the job posting. Traveler Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent experience required for all specialties 3+ years preferred Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment Must hold: An active RN license in the state or A compact RN license that complies with the NLC guidelines EPIC experience preferred Education Requirements A BSN is only required for: Le Bonheur Children s Methodist Rheumatology Centralized Staffing Positions (Float Pool) All other positions accept an ADN . Profile Credentialing Requirements Clearly list the traveler s best contact time on their profile. If certifications will expire during the assignment, include a documented renewal plan on the profile. Example: BLS expires 5/30/18 Sydney is enrolled in a renewal class on 5/7/18.
