Role Overview We are eagerly looking for a dedicated Sonography / Ultrasound Imaging Specialist to join our dynamic imaging team, known for delivering top-tier healthcare services. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will conduct diagnostic procedures, work alongside a devoted team of healthcare professionals, and provide patients with a sense of reassurance through precise and timely imaging. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct various ultrasound examinations such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety during scans, providing clear explanations throughout the process
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Manage imaging equipment with care, promptly reporting any equipment malfunctions
- Accurately document procedures and ensure patient records are maintained within the electronic medical system
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
- Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or its equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- Proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and effective patient positioning
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
