Job Description AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The therapist will work in a collaborative rehabilitation team, conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement interventions to improve mobility, strength, endurance, and functional independence. Responsibilities include early mobility in the ICU, gait and balance training on medical‑surgical floors, transfer training, discharge planning, patient and family education, and participation in interdisciplinary rounds. The therapist will manage a caseload of postoperative surgical patients, orthopedic and spine cases, neurological conditions such as stroke and brain injury, cardiopulmonary patients, and individuals with complex medical needs. The role supports meaningful, high‑quality care with reasonable productivity expectations, and may involve working across medical‑surgical, telemetry, step‑down, ICU, and specialty units based on hospital staffing.
