Key Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and direct the daily operations of the Dietary Department Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Maintain high standards for food safety, sanitation, and infection control Develop and maintain menus that meet residents' nutritional needs, preferences, and physician-ordered diets Supervise, train, schedule, and support dietary staff Monitor food preparation, portion control, meal service, and presentation Manage food inventory, ordering, and department costs Maintain appropriate food supplies and inventory levels Work closely with nursing and other clinical departments regarding residents' nutritional needs Help accommodate special diets and individual resident preferences Monitor resident satisfaction and address dietary concerns Maintain accurate dietary records and documentation Promote a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment What We're Looking For: Previous experience as a Dietary Manager, Dietary Director, or similar leadership role preferred Long-term care or healthcare dietary experience preferred Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and dietary regulations Strong organizational and leadership skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Dependable, professional, and resident-focused Passion for providing quality nutrition and service to seniors Make a Difference at Rock Creek!
