Retail Supervisor

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Must be able to fulfill all functions and duties of the retail department Assign duties to retail staff Review daily time sheets Conduct pre and post shift meetings Conduct department orientation trainings Conduct in-service training sessions and weekly safety topic trainings Provide coaching to team members Issue disciplinary action according to park policies and procedures as needed Ensure retail locations are clean, organized, and stocked with merchandise/product Communicate low stock merchandise/products for reordering Conduct inventory counts as needed. Supervise guest experience to ensure excellent customer service is provided, respond to guest concerns Ensure all park policies and procedures are being followed by team members Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and team members Provide superior customer service to all customers in a polite and expedient manner Assist customers with questions regarding Ocean Breeze Waterpark Follow park policies and procedures Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age Experience in department or equivalent supervisory experience preferred Ability to accept guidance and supervision Demonstrate ability to work independently Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and leadership Be aware, attentive, and work well with others Ability to work in indoor and outdoor conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection Energy and enthusiasm for long days Ability to work in extreme weather conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection Must be able to work days, evenings, weekend and holidays to meet business needs Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time Must be able to lift, carry, move, and/or position items weighing up to 50 pounds, team lift for heavier objects Benefits: FREE Season Pass Free Tickets Park discounts on food, merchandise, etc. Career Development We also offer a retention bonus of up to $500 for team members that average a certain number of hours per week during the qualifying time period and work through a specified date.
