Retail Supervisor

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be able to fulfill all functions and duties of the retail department
• Assign duties to retail staff
• Review daily time sheets
• Conduct pre and post shift meetings
• Conduct department orientation trainings
• Conduct in-service training sessions and weekly safety topic trainings
• Provide coaching to team members
• Issue disciplinary action according to park policies and procedures as needed
• Ensure retail locations are clean, organized, and stocked with merchandise/product
• Communicate low stock merchandise/products for reordering
• Conduct inventory counts as needed.
• Supervise guest experience to ensure excellent customer service is provided, respond to guest concerns
• Ensure all park policies and procedures are being followed by team members
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and team members
• Provide superior customer service to all customers in a polite and expedient manner
• Assist customers with questions regarding Ocean Breeze Waterpark
• Follow park policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Experience in department or equivalent supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to accept guidance and supervision
• Demonstrate ability to work independently
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and leadership
• Be aware, attentive, and work well with others
• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection
• Energy and enthusiasm for long days
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection
• Must be able to work days, evenings, weekend and holidays to meet business needs

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift, carry, move, and/or position items weighing up to 50 pounds, team lift for heavier objects

We also offer a retention bonus of up to $500 for team members that average a certain number of hours per week during the qualifying time period and work through a specified date. Details about eligibility requirements for the Retention Bonus will be provided at a later date.
