Branch Sales Specialist | Denver, CO

Our growing company is seeking a Branch Sales Specialist to support our Denver branch. The Specialist will provide technical product knowledge and training to branch sales representatives, coordinate price and delivery quotes, and provide support to inside sales. The role involves selling company products and services via telephone, Internet, e‑mail, and fax. Headquartered in Fort Worth, TX, TTI, Inc. is the world's leading authorized distributor of passive, connector, electromechanical and discrete components. Our Branch Sales Specialists Team Provides price and delivery quotes within customer timelines, works with product managers and manufacturer representatives to establish competitive pricing using telephone, fax, and email. For price quotes, the incumbent may use independent judgment on product costs by reviewing TTI's suggested sale price and pricing history for that customer. Performs the duties of an Account Representative, taking the customer's calls, pursuing sales and expediting parts. Sells products and services offered by TTI, including product lines, AIM programs, quality, and value-added services. Builds relationships and tailors the sales approach to meet and inquire on the customer's needs; measured through monthly sales reporting, quality objectives and regular management reviews. Facilitates and coordinates large quotes (over 100 line items) with sales and the TTI QS department, ensuring quotes are completed between sales, product and QS and that the final quote is returned to the customer in a timely manner. Researches and expedites customer orders, monitors and ensures delivery date and product quality to meet customer requirements. Processes the customer's order by entering it into the sales database for quote processing and delivery schedules. Requires eye for detail, proofreading for accuracy, and maintaining quality expectations. Failure to process and review in a timely manner can result in a loss of parts and lead time with factories. This is measured by customers on time delivery and return material authorization (RMA) rate. Expands product knowledge by utilizing all resources including product literature, factory representatives, product managers, sales managers and other sales representatives to discuss product options with customers and sell TTI strengths. Participates in the TTI Total Quality process by following defined policies and procedures to maintain an efficient sales cycle, following logical and systematic approaches, while the goal being to reduce sales errors and uphold quality to the highest level. This is measured by how many lines are shipped per sales person and how many lines were on time and cross‑checked for errors. Increases customer account base by compiling a list of prospective customer leads from various sources. The number of new customers should grow based on this activity. Provides management with information regarding sales, marketing techniques, new products and market strategy by preparing forecast and activity reports on account territory. Works with Regional Credit Manager to resolve customer credit issues by interfacing with both parties to resolve the issue and close the sale. Performs other related duties as assigned. Education and Experience Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree with one to three years of sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Exhibits strong analytical, problem‑solving and negotiation skills. Must be organized and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Ability to calculate discounts, commissions, proportions and percentages. Ability to write reports and correspondence proficiently and professionally. Reads, analyzes and interprets business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and government regulations. Able to work with minimum supervision and make responsible decisions. Possesses working knowledge of company policies, procedures and computer systems. Ability to type 40 words per minute. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) at an advanced level. This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). To perform the position, you must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee). Please note that we do not offer relocation assistance for this position. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate at their own expense. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. Only candidates authorized to work in the United States will be considered. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is $22.00 to $25.00. This posting will be open for a minimum of 5 days.
