Description

American Traveler is hiring an Outpatient MRI Technologist with 3+ years of experience and ARRT MR certification for a day-shift assignment.

Details

• Outpatient imaging center setting
• MRI Tech unit performing outpatient MRI procedures
• Monday through Friday schedule, either 8:30 AM-5:00 PM or 12:15 PM-8:15 PM
• No weekends or call required
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Siemens MRI equipment used
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of MRI Technologist experience required
• ARRT MR certification required (license required if applicable)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in abdomen and pelvis imaging, including MRA, MRV, and MRCP
• Experience with head and neck imaging including brain, cranial nerves, and orbits
• Spine imaging experience including cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and sacrum/coccyx
• Musculoskeletal imaging experience including extremities, shoulder, hip, and knee
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration
• Skilled in starting peripheral IVs
• Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
• Prior travel assignment experience required

Additional Information

• Perform a wide range of MRI studies including abdominal, pelvic, head, neck, spine, cardiovascular, and musculoskeletal imaging
• Utilize special imaging techniques such as CINE, diffusion, gradient echo, MIP, MRP, and perfusion studies
• Black scrubs required
• No first-time travelers considered
• Candidates residing within 70 miles of the facility are not accepted
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
