Cath Lab Tech - Travel Job

Are you ready to take your expertise as a cardiovascular technologist to new heights. Join our team as a cath lab tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and play a vital role on a team that values your expertise while working in a new location. Assist physicians and other cath lab personnel in conducting diagnostic tests and procedures. Operate advanced medical equipment to capture images and data of the heart and blood vessels.

Minimum Qualifications

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist.
• BLS and ACLS certification. American Heart Association preferred.
• State specific licensing when required.
• Experience requirement: 2 years' experience in a Cath Lab hospital setting.
• Client-specific requirement: experience in a Joint Commission accredited hospital and familiarity with chest pain center workflows preferred.
• Preferred: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with a variety of cardiology services including diagnostic cath, interventional procedures, and support for stroke or chest pain programs.
• Previous work in community hospital settings servicing a regional patient population.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0700-1500.
• Shift days: Days.
• Orientation schedule provided by client as part of assignment onboarding.
• May be required to float to other facilities within the system when requested.
