This role will be located at our Loveland, Ohio facility.Role OverviewThe Quality Technician independently performs advanced inspection activities to ensure manufactured components meet engineering, customer, and regulatory requirements. This role applies advanced metrology techniques, develops inspection methods, creates and executes CMM programs, and supports Quality Management System (QMS) processes in accordance with AS9100 and company standards. The position partners closely with Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality issues, drive process improvements, and ensure consistent product conformity.What You'll Do...Perform advanced dimensional and visual inspections using manual and automated metrology equipmentInterpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements to determine product conformityCreate, validate, and execute CMM inspection programs using PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar softwareUtilize CAD models, CMMs, scanners, and other inspection technologies to support product verificationDevelop and implement inspection methods, standard work, and inspection documentation to meet customer and regulatory requirementsAnalyze inspection data and communicate trends, findings, and quality concerns to cross-functional teamsCollaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to investigate product quality issues and implement corrective actionsCreate, review, and maintain Customer Data Packets, Certificates of Conformance (CoC), calibration records, and other QMS documentationIdentify, document, and help resolve nonconforming materials through approved quality systemsSupport internal and external audits by preparing documentation and demonstrating compliance with AS9100 and company proceduresRecommend improvements to inspection processes, equipment utilization, and quality documentationMentor less experienced technicians on inspection methods, metrology equipment, and quality proceduresUtilize Microsoft Office applications and quality software to maintain accurate inspection and quality recordsFollow all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies, procedures, PPE requirements, and hazard reporting expectationsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe inspection work environmentPerform other duties as assignedYou Have...High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experienceExperienceFour (4) or more years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience working in an AS9100, ISO 9001, or similarly regulated manufacturing environmentTwo (2) or more years of experience programming and operating coordinate measuring machines (CMM)Experience developing inspection methods, quality documentation, and work instructionsSkills & CompetenciesAdvanced knowledge of quality inspection principles, metrology, and manufacturing processesAdvanced proficiency interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirementsProficiency programming and operating CMMs using PC-DMIS, Calypso, or equivalent softwareExperience utilizing CAD models and automated inspection equipment to verify product conformityStrong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS), calibration systems, and document controlAbility to analyze inspection results and recommend corrective actions and process improvementsProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently while leading quality initiatives across cross-functional teamsDemonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellenceThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
