Supervise through Senior Supervisors.Establish tactical and strategic goals, objectives, policies and procedures in assigned area within the businessDirect Supervisors and other staff in daily operations; inspect daily operations and projects in progress and upon completion to ensure quality of workProvide administrative and technical direction to staff; interpret policies and procedures established by regulatory agenciesOversee and recommend the selection of key staff; participate in the selection of staffWork with employees to correct deficiencies; implement disciplinary procedures and recommend terminations; investigate complaints and recommend corrective action as necessaryForecast necessary funds for staffing, materials and supplies, and capital improvement projectsSubmit budget recommendations and justifications; monitor and control expendituresDevelop, plan, and coordinate the work plan for assigned projects and responsibilities, which may include project management, cost estimates and program development; coordinate work with other units and site departmentsProvide information and resources to site officials and other departments; answer questions and provide information to the publicReview Capital Improvement Plans and make recommendationsEvaluate infrastructure, facilities and operating systems for needed maintenance and repairCoordinate the activities of consultants and contractorsPerform other duties as requiredWhat You Bring To FreeportHigh School diploma or GED and seven (7) years of related operational experience, including supervisory or management experience, ORBachelor's degree and three (3) years of related operational experience, including supervisory or management experienceAdditional certifications or licensure appropriate to the job may be required, depending upon the department/site.Skilled in supervising, evaluating, training and motivating employeesAbility to plan, prioritize, direct and manage a diverse number of operational areas, projects and activitiesSkilled in preparing, defending, monitoring and administering budgetsAbility to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautionsSkilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazardsAbility to communicate effectively, both orally and in writingPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in engineering or mining related fieldMobile equipment maintenance experienceData analysis experience (SQL, Power BI)5+ years maintenance leadership experienceAutomation or autonomous equipment experienceLean/Six Sigma experienceWhat We Offer You The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $120,000-$167,500. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors.
