Job Description Position: Class A CDL Truck Driver Location: Prince George, VA Contract: Full‑time, Permanent Schedule: Monday – Friday, occasional Saturdays Hours per week: 40+ hours per week Compensation: $1850+ weekly Solo Miles Pay: $0.71 per mile (1300 miles per week) Solo Stops Pay: $29.22 per Rough Stop, $34.92 trim stop Bonus: Loyalty $3000 half at 6 months, half at 1 year Pay Frequency: Weekly Benefits: Medical, Dental & Vision after 30 days; Paid PTO starting day 1 (up to 80 hours accrued in 1st year); Uniforms, cell phone & boot allowance provided; 401(k) rollover available with company match at 1 year; 12 weeks paid maternity leave (subject to eligibility); Employee discounts on tools, vehicles, travel, tech; 11 paid holidays; 401(k) plan; paid holidays; Jenny. • Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass Ryder Drug Test
• Pass Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle check (last 3 years)
• Pass DOT physical
• Pass Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Class A verifiable experience: 9 months in past 3 years OR 2 years in past 5 years OR 5 years in past 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures
• Ability to follow safety protocols; maintain accurate logs and paperwork
• Driver safety knowledge
• Ability to lift at least 30 pounds

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with federal and/state laws and agency rules
• Detect and eliminate safety hazards
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Load/unload freight as required
• Perform other duties assigned
• Promote a safe, efficient and customer‑oriented service
