Stockroom Team Lead: Inventory Flow & Logistics Champion

The Stockroom Team Leader oversees daily stockroom, inventory, receiving, and shipping operations to ensure efficient material flow and inventory accuracy. This role provides hands-on leadership for stockroom personnel, supports manufacturing and logistics activities, and drives continuous improvement in inventory control, organization, safety, and operational performance. What you will do: Lead daily kitting activities, receiving, storage, distribution, and shipment of materials to support operational requirements. Oversee, train, coach, and support stockroom associates while promoting teamwork and accountability. Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, inventory audits, reconciliations, and discrepancy resolution. Utilize ERP systems, inventory management software, and barcode scanners to maintain accurate material transactions and records. Coordinate material flow and replenishment activities to ensure timely availability of materials and products. Collaborate with Production, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, and Logistics teams to resolve material and inventory issues. Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Maintain inventory traceability and support audit, compliance, and loss prevention initiatives. Drive continuous improvement efforts focused on inventory control, material flow, operational efficiency, and workplace organization. Enforce safety standards and proper material handling procedures. Serve as a technical resource and point of contact for inventory, logistics, and material flow issues. Organize and maintain stockroom locations, bin systems, and storage areas to maximize efficiency and material accessibility What sets you apart: Advanced knowledge of inventory control, receiving, warehousing, shipping, and material flow processes. Strong ERP transaction management and inventory accuracy experience. Proven ability to lead and develop stockroom personnel while maintaining daily operational performance. Effective problem-solving and root cause analysis skills. Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multiple departments. Continuous improvement mindset focused on efficiency, accuracy, and customer service Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree preferred. 3+ years of experience in inventory control, warehousing, material handling, logistics, or stockroom operations. Prior leadership, training, or team lead experience preferred. Experience with ERP systems, inventory management software, Microsoft Office, and RF scanners. Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and inventory control skills.
