MDM Consultant

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an MDM Consultant to partner with the cleint's inventory and operations teams to drive insights from complex operational datasets to improve how operational data reflects system performance, reliability, and risk. Responsibilities include:

-Advanced root cause analysis, using data to identify underlying operational issues and translate findings into actionable MDM recommendations

-Partnering closely with Operations leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders to solve business problems, connect teams for collaborative problem‑solving, and improve data center efficiency and decision‑making.

-Leveraging modern AI tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate analysis, improve accuracy, and scale insights.

-Ability to clearly present data challenges, root causes, and solution paths to executive‑level audiences, specifically within the context of data center operations data.

-Partner alongside an Operational Data Project Manager to ensure the MDM solutions are pushed through to execution

Skills and Requirements

-10+ years of experience in MDM roles

-Consultant level experience

-Advanced root cause analysis skills

-Ability to use data insights to solve for business problems alongside Operations leaders

-Experience using AI tools such as Claude, Co-Pilot or Cursor to enhance speed and accuracy within data analysis tasks

-Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data challenges, provide solutions to executive level leaders and take full ownership of processes -Experience analyzing data center operations data (understanding of terminology such as PDU's, CRACs, cooling units, etc)
