Job Title: Maintenance Technician/Carpenter Location: Cincinnati $25 - $33 per hour We are partnering with our client to identify a Maintenance Technician/Carpenter in Cincinnati, Ohio for an immediate hire. High-quality standards are a must. The candidate must be able to work in a team environment and possess good oral and written communication skills, maintain a professional appearance, and demonstrate a positive attitude. Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time. This position constructs and repairs walls, ceilings, flooring, and doors in commercial and industrial establishments. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Frame metal stud or wood framing – 10% Hang and finish drywall in preparation for finishes – 10% Erect acoustical ceiling grid and install acoustical ceiling panels – 10% Install wood and hollow metal frames and doors, including associated hardware such as locks, closers, and panic devices – 10% Install cabinets, casework, and countertops – 10% Install prefabricated windows and frames – 10% Install vinyl composition tile flooring and carpet tile – 10% Install window shades and blinds – 5% Assemble and install specialty items such as lockers, benches, toilet accessories, and partitions – 10% Install wood trim including base, crown molding, chair rail, and door trim – 10% Install commercial modular furniture systems – 5% Minimum Requirements Education: High School Diploma or GED Business Experience: 4–6 years of related experience Licenses/Certifications: Must possess a valid driver’s license Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic addition and subtraction for measuring and cutting materials Ability to work and communicate professionally in occupied environments with a variety of customers #J-18808-Ljbffr The Planet Group
