The Practice Supervisor is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operations, inventory control, personnel management, patient relations, and patient flow and compliance. Duties/Responsibilities Daily Operations Supervise front desk, medical assistants, and support staff Manage appointment scheduling, patient flow, and inventory Financial Operations Oversee daily collections, copays, and charge reconciliation Monitor practice-specific budget and expenses Human Resources Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate site-level staff Manage time-off requests, payroll approval, and staff discipline (within scope) Ensure high-quality patient service and resolve patient complaints Compliance Ensure staff follow HIPAA, OSHA, and safety protocols Maintain required documentation and readiness for audits Reporting Track and report daily/weekly site-level performance metrics to regional manager Identify operational challenges and elevate as needed Required Skills/Abilities Excellent management and supervisory skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Outstanding customer service skills to ensure the best possible experience for our patients. Experience with an EMR system, Athena experience a plus. Education /Experience Associate’s degree in business or health care related field Three years or more of related experience required Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
