Worship Leader
Restoration Community Church is a new church plant on the Northshore in Old Mandeville with the mission to be a loving community being shaped by the work of Jesus and joining his mission in the renewal of all things. We launched publicly in September 2025 and gather on Sundays at 10:00am at the North Star Theatre as well as in homes throughout the week for our Community Groups. We are seeking a part-time Worship Leader to help lead and grow our music ministry through Christ-centered, congregational worship.
This role includes leading Sunday morning rehearsal and worship, planning songs and service flow with the Lead Pastor, scheduling volunteers, and helping cultivate a healthy worship culture in a young church plant. Our current musical lane is shaped more by congregationally rich, Scripture-filled songs than performance-driven worship culture. Songwriters and groups that often fit our church include CityAlight, Matt Papa, Sovereign Grace Worship, Shane and Shane, and the Gettys.
We are looking for someone with a clear love for Jesus, strong musical ability, theological maturity, and the humility to build a team over time. This is a hands-on role in a small but growing church, with room to help shape not only Sunday worship, but potentially a broader arts ministry that serves our surrounding community. Restoration also cares deeply about developing leaders over time through internships, residency, and other pathways of ministry formation as we look to be a multiplying church planting more churches in the future.
We also value gospel partnership beyond our own congregation. Restoration has linked arms with other faithful churches across the Northshore through the Northshore Gospel Network , and we want a Worship Leader who is excited about that kind of kingdom-minded collaboration.
Compensation: Starting stipend of $200/week for approximately 10 hours of work, with room to grow as the role and church develop.
For the right candidate, this role could also grow over time into broader ministry leadership and potentially a pastoral role as both the church and candidate mature.
