Assistant Branch Manager

This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of our landscaping division, managing landscape crews, and ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. Responsibilities: Operations Management: Oversee daily landscaping operations, including scheduling, crew assignments, and equipment management to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects. Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate a team of landscape professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, safety, and accountability. Budget & Cost Control: Manage project budgets, track costs, and ensure projects stay within financial constraints while maintaining high standards of quality. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets company standards and client expectations. Address any issues or quality concerns promptly. Safety Compliance: Ensure that all landscaping activities are conducted in accordance with safety regulations and company policies. Promote a safety-first culture among all employees. Inventory & Equipment Management: Oversee the inventory of landscaping materials, tools, and equipment. Ensure proper maintenance and timely replacement of equipment. Scheduling & Reporting: Create and manage schedules for landscape projects and services. Maintain accurate records of daily operations and report progress to upper management. Marketing & Business Development: Assist in identifying opportunities for business growth, including upselling services to existing clients and expanding our customer base. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in landscaping, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role. Bi-Lingual: Fluent in Spanish Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with experience managing and motivating teams to achieve operational goals and maintain high standards. Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of landscaping practices, including planting, irrigation, turf management, and hardscaping. Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with OSHA regulations and landscape safety standards. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in landscape management, horticulture, or a related field is a plus. Driving License: Valid driver's license Technology Proficiency: Experience with project management software, MS Office Suite, and other tools for tracking projects and performance.
