We are seeking a skilled general production worker trained in electronic assembly of switches for diverse sectors including military, government, agriculture, and healthcare. The role involves meticulous handling of small parts, requiring excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
Responsibilities

• Perform electronic assembly tasks with precision.
• Utilize hand tools to build various component parts.
• Gather necessary materials efficiently.
• Place components accurately onto PC boards.
• Work independently at assigned stations, both standing and sitting throughout the day.

Essential Skills

• Experience with electronic assembly and soldering.
• Proficiency in using small and precision hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and dexterity.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Possessing a solder certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Experience with pick and place equipment can lead to adjusted pay rates.

Work Environment
The work environment is a laid-back manufacturing setting with long rows and multiple work stations. Although relaxed, results are expected, and employees are trusted to perform their duties. Safety protocols include temperature checks at the beginning and towards the end of shifts. Shift times include a first shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and a second shift from 3:45 PM to 12:15 AM, with the possibility of starting earlier at 5:30 AM. Overtime is common, with current schedules ranging from 50-60 hours per week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Grange, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.40 - $15.40/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
