Iron WorkerThe Iron Worker is responsible for fabricating new pieces and then using these fabrications for building the final product. We require a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), one to three years related experience or training, or an equivalent combination.ResponsibilitiesSteel fabrication - Steel, wood, construction, pouring of concrete, setting forms and finishingBuilding repair - Roofing, siding, sloshing, overhead doors, man doors and windowsRebuilding, bricking and plumbing of all electrical furnacesWear required safety equipment. Follow all applicable procedures and instructionsRequirementsOn-the-job trainingBlue print readingMobile Crane operation safety course, including proper rigging proceduresCertified Welder's Certificate preferredPhysical DemandsThe employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
